Unsourced criticism edit

I removed a couple of paragraphs that seemed to cite unreliable sources.

If you want to add the material back, you could have a look at the German Wikipedia article, which seems to cite more sources (though I haven't evaluated them). -- pne (talk) 21:12, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Criticism edit

I've removed most of the criticism section, as it was unreferenced, contained weasel words (Many people), and was actually a criticism of GM crops in general, with no specific reference to Müller. Also removed comment that they dropped the umlaut from the URL of the UK website, to hide their being German. You can't have an umlaut in a URL! Rojomoke (talk) 21:07, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Use of songs in adverts edit

I removed a sentence which observed that Müller's use of 'I've got life' as an advertising theme had been parodied, in a way which drew attention to the real meaning of the original song. I felt that this was given an undue prominence in the text, and implied a kind of 'gotcha'. But Müller's practice here is not at all untypical of the casual way in which brands use songs on ads, out of context and without regard for the original meaning. In fact I submit that it is harder to find examples where the original meaning of the song is actually relevant. In short, it's unfair to criticise Müller on this basis.
