syntazo's concerns edit

  1. This article was started by me in 2005.
  2. wikipeidia should be the main source of reference yet Justice007 removed a tonne of references.
  3. Justice007 added the ugly statement: She organized many exhibitions about her works around the world. Although this was probably a gramatical mistake by Justice007, it implies that the artist has not been shown by any galleries and museums but self showed. This is a very damaging statement.
  4. Although Justice007 has probably done a great job with many other articles the changes to this article showed a lack of understand of the contemporary art world. Under Career it is important to see list of shows and events that an artist has participated in. The projects that they have worked on and the galleries that they are with. All this structure and information was removed by Justice007.
  5. What was an elegant, informative and well referenced article has been butchered into a brief stub.
  6. Justice007 removed many references and a historic photo. An image that was saved correctly to wiki commons by myself.
  7. I would like to restore the information that was contain in the article before 17:42, 1 August 2012‎, but I'm apprehensive that you will again revert my good work or even punish the article.
  8. This much of this information had been verified and cross-referenced in Lydia Venieri: Theogony by Nadja Argyropoulou & Anastasia Aukeman, published by Charta Publication, ISBN: 8881587920. A reference to which was also removed from this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Syntazo (talkcontribs) 16:35, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hey, I just noticed your concerns, I have done my best to make the good shape of the article, in work section, there was too lang list of articles and exhibitions that I removed because of unnecessary. About references, I tried to cite all relevant references to the content. If I had made some grammar mistakes, you are encouraged to correct those, but now what I see you have spoiled the article, there is no any more lead section, you removed that.If you want to expand article, you are encouraged to do that and try to find and cite supporting reliable sources.I am going to revert all your disruptive edits.Justice007 (talk) 19:56, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • You are right I removed the lead as I as the current one is very weak Lydia Venieri (born 1964) is a Greek artist, and a descendant of the Greek branch of the House of Venier. It shames me to see such a poor start to an article. So I moved it to the bio and emailed the greek art historian Nadia Argyropoulou for something better... ...I will leave it for now.
  • Meanwhile I still believe you miss the point when it comes to contemporary artists. It's essential to have a reference an artist's projects, shows and articles. An artists resume is not like list of companies that a programmer has worked with, it's a historical record of cultural development. Also I don't undertand your need to remove information - too lang list of articles and exhibitions - it's not as wikipedia is a book with printing cost associated with the number of pages.
  • Also why did you remove the references I had added for the videos? Or were articles on a national museum website and location one not reliable sources? What are your qualifications to decided on the references of an article of a contemporary website and what should or should not be in? This inappropriate editorial weakens wikipedia.syntazo —Preceding undated comment added 22:19, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • what happened to his article? It was once a good source of info about a historic greek artist. Who is this guy Justice007 and how can he be allowed to be so destructive? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.182.39.249 (talk) 09:13, 1 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
I went through all the sources, source 1 and 2- I can not access, but other all are only dead links or websites of the artist's work (images), no content about subject and I think that sources may not be sufficient to establish notability of the subject. I hope other editors will soon review all edits and access the sources. They will reply you properly.Justice007 (talk) 23:07, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I Undid your revision 523896011, and I'll be reporting you, Justice007, for vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Venieri (talkcontribs) 06:55, 26 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you are yourself the subject of the article, please read COI. I will not mind your reporting, my edits are in accordance with wiki rules.Justice007 (talk) 10:49, 26 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Can't this article be in the same format as venieri's classmate Ouattara_Watts, etc. This site is strangely formatted and very incomplete. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.175.10.12 (talk) 04:22, 21 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Missing Information edit

What happened here ? Where are all the artist's shows and events? Venieri is a major greek artist and to have such a scanty page is poor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.173.144.141 (talk) 18:08, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
