Over-emphasis of methionine edit

This article is about a low-sulfur diet, and might be consulted for information by people with sulfur sensitivities or (in my case) their friends and coworkers.

The article lists a series of foods high in methionine — in this context, this might be taken as a list of foods to avoid. However, methionine is an essential amino acid and cutting it out of a person's diet could have deleterious effects. Perhaps the article should provide more emphasis on or information about non-essential sulfurous amino acids which can more safely be omitted.

Spelling changed for consistency edit

There were three instances in this article where the spelling was "sulphur"; given that the title of the article is spelled "sulfur" I figured it prudent to change the spelling of these three instances to keep things consistent throughout. Lumberjane Lilly (talk) 15:03, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
