Two versions

There's two versions of this song released as singles. The solo version and the Timberlake duet version. They have different producers. The solo version is produced Michael Jackson, John McClain, Giorgio Tuinfort, and Paul Anka. The duet version is produced by Timbaland, Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon, Michael Jackson, and Paul Anka.

How do we deal with the two versions in the article? Currently the cover for the Timberlake version has been added, but the beginning of the article doesn't mention Timberlake.--z33k (talk) 19:06, 14 May 2014 (UTC)

The Timberlake version is the one that has been sent to radio and used for the music video, so that version should be treated as the main version. — Status (talk · contribs) 14:10, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Just gonna quickly point out that technically both the solo and duet versions were sent to radio and released as singles. Maybe this is something that should be up for consensus. Holiday56 (talk) 15:38, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Yeah, i don't think it's clear which version is THE single. There's a music video for the Timberlake version, but on the other hand that song only appears on the Deluxe version of the album.--z33k (talk) 19:01, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

That is true Holiday56; thanks for pointing that out. The fact remains that the Timberlake version was the one that got a music video. And apart from the UK and Australia, the duet version is the one that is charting. Even in the US, where both versions were sent to radio, the song is credited to "Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake". — Status (talk · contribs) 07:44, 16 May 2014 (UTC)

Agree with User:Status. Both versions are singles without a doubt, but I think the duet version is more notable due to the fact that it is the only one having music video and appearing on all record charts worldwide (excluding UK). We need to update the template for Australian Chart since, unlike Hung Medien, the ARIA official website itself lists the song as Michael Jackson feat. Justin Timberlake.
