This needs a photo, some instances of scandals she discoved or famously reported on, and the article needs to flow more. --Alexs letterbox 07:44, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)

In the listing under 'Spouses', you say 'Henry W. Martin (1926-1964; his death)'. But in the main article, you say 'They remained married until Martin's death on June 24, 1951.' Valetude (talk) 17:28, 5 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

I included this line in my redraft of the lede, as I think it's important to define the particular quality behind the notability: 'Parsons possessed an uncanny gift for sensing scandal, and her dramatic scoops could make or break an actor's career.'
Why has this been deleted? Valetude (talk) 21:25, 13 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

from the article: 'her columns were read by 20 million people in 400 newspapers worldwide'.
However, juxtapose this from the article: 'her Los Angeles Examiner column came to appear in over six hundred newspapers the world over, with a readership of more than twenty-million'.
Can we make up our minds, here? I mean, is it '400 newspapers', or is it 'over six hundred newspapers'?
I might suggest that even 400 is probably an exaggeration.DanLanglois (talk) 06:41, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

There's an error here. I can't find a 2001 version of Leaming on Worldcat, and the quoted isbn is for David Nasdaw's biography of Hearst. KJP1 (talk) 11:35, 26 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
