On the very first paragraph it is said:

[...] of Spanish, South African, Zimbabwean nationality

Well, according to Spanish law you cannot have double nationality (even less triple) unless Spain has a treaty of double nationality with with the other country. And the other countries are only the Latin American ones, Portugal, Andorra, the Philippines and Equatorial Guinea. The other ones must renounce to the other nationalities to keep the Spanish one.

You can see the list of countries here and the list of treaties [here https://www.mjusticia.gob.es/es/Ciudadano/Nacionalidad/Documents/TablaNormativa2021_legislaci%C3%B3n_sobre_nacionalidad_%20y_estado%20civil.pdf].

It's my understanding that Spain allows dual nationality for its natural-born citizens for countries beyond those that you mentioned, so long as the country allows it. Having to renounce other nationalities is for people of foreign nationality (outside of those countries mentioned) who seek to become a naturalized citizen of Spain. Apparently actress Oona Chaplin, born in Spain, is a dual Spanish and Swiss citizen. And I'm sure there are other notable examples. Clear Looking Glass (talk) 02:40, 8 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
