Removal of graphic . . . edit

Some good Wikipedian — I am sure with the best of intentions — keeps removing the graphic for this article, an election flier which I went to some great degree of trouble to find and upload. I am sure this fine person will be glad to describe the reason for the removal here because it has not been done elsewhere, at least I can't find it. I must say with the greatest humility that this contretemps is very distressing for me and, speaking frankly, has caused me to lose some sleep. (Maybe I am just a sensitive guy.) In the meantime, I will continue my self-assigned project of completing the biographies of all Los Angeles City Council members and hope to put this matter to rest — as I would like to get some, too. Sincerely, and with my very best wishes to all, GeorgeLouis (talk) 16:28, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please just take a look at my edit summary, you need a rationale for each use of the file, including this article (which it does not have). ΔT The only constant 18:06, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I believe the image will be permitted for use if a Non-free use rationale is provided. Just place it on this page and you should be able to use it on this page. 08OceanBeachS.D. 22:24, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you both for the information. Of course I believed I had provided a rationale previously, but now I have used the template that I found after a bit of a search and I hope all is now in order. If yot, I am sure I will be informed. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 13:21, 16 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

I put the image back again, and I trust it will stay put this time. Sincerely, a friend to everyone, GeorgeLouis (talk) 05:46, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

2017 election edit

Can we PLEASE get an article written regarding the 2017 election. This has been notable for reasons including the rare opposition against the incumbent, the incumbent's failing to win the primary outright, and the endorsements and follow-up rescission of endorsements for the challenger candidate. It's been a mess and it's certainly been notable. riffic (talk) 03:21, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
