BSA vs. LSA edit
Sigh. Someone is confusing the Lone Scouts of America, a separate organization from the BSA, with the Lone Scout program of the BSA. Will re-work. Hopefully others can fill in. --Emb021 19:08, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
I'm sighing, too. Here's what I wrote:
"Lone Scouts of America is a program administered by the Boy Scouts of America wherein boys who cannot participate in regular Cub Scout Packs or Boy Scout Troops can partake of the Scouting experience by themselves. Originally a separate organization founded in 1915, the Lone Scouts of America merged with the Boy Scouts of America in 1924."
I acknowledged that LSA was founded as a separate organization. It became part of the BSA. What is confusing about that? Squamate 01:03, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Simple. The "Lone Scouts of America" was a separate organization from the BSA. Once it became part of the BSA, it stopped being the LSA and just because the Lone Scout program of the BSA. The Lone Scout program of the BSA is never refered to as the "Lone Scouts of America". To say "Lone Scouts of America is a program administered by the Boy Scouts of America" is factually incorrect. --Emb021 23:56, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Lone Scout Plan edit
Is this related or precursor for the Lone Scout Plan currently listed on the scouting website [1]? But then we have wiki page for that already at Lone_Scouts. These appear to overlap somewhat.
