Other editions are also online at MUTCD History, so it should be possible to pull together the needed citations for various revisions to the program from the different editions of the MUTCD. The only link that seems to be missing is the Millennium Edition (2001), but otherwise that history page has all of the editions.

Now, as for the graphic, I'm going to suggest that someone redoes it using the appropriate typefaces, and maybe even use proper logos. With a little luck and digging, we might be able to find 5 or 6 logos that are in the public domain, especially if they are text only. (The KFC logo that's just the initials would be PD because stylized text fails the originality requirements. The McDonald's Golden Arches are also PD as is an older version of their logo from the 1990s. That's two off the top of my head, and a third is the logo for Subway and a fourth would be their competitor, Blimpie.. In any case, if I can come up with four, I'm sure there are a couple more out there we could use to produce a sign that looks like something that would actually appear by the side of the road. The Roadgeek 2005 font series approximates the actual FHWA Highway Gothic fonts used on road signs. There is a version in that series that also approximates Clearview. Imzadi 1979 → 21:14, 28 March 2012 (UTC)

Globalize - how?

I noticed that the article was tagged to be globalized, stating it deals primarily with the United States. However, are logo signs used in many other countries? The only other country that I know that uses them is Canada and only in the provinces of Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia. ANDROS¹³³⁷_TALK 21:09, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
