Thrust edit

There is a discrepancy with the value given for thrust of 5,100 lbf (2,315 N). 5,100lbf actually equals 22700N, while 2315N equals 520lbf. 5,100lb equals 2313kg - perhaps this is where the error lies? Given the thrust range of comparable engines from the period, I'd suspect 5,100lbf is the correct thrust, and I have amended the article accordingly. If someone could provide a sourced answer to this question though, that would be useful. --Nick Moss (talk) 12:07, 24 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Efficiency edit

Why was it felt that the engine's efficiency had to be comparable to a piston-engine? I don't think any turbojet engine of that era could come even close at low altitudes (If they even can now). AVKent882 (talk) 02:56, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

You'd probably have to ask the designers or engineers of the project, but I doubt one of them is on WP, even if any are still alive. - BilCat (talk) 06:44, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
I could have told you that. I was wondering if anybody that is currently alive would have known this? AVKent882 (talk) 04:46, 3 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yet you still ask, expecting one of them to answer you! - BilCat (talk) 05:05, 3 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
