Talk:Load duration curve

Some suggestions:

  • Would be good to have the horizontal axis as "% of Time"
  • Make another page on Price Duration Curve, and draw some conclusions about the use of these two curves together
  • Throw in some references to Energy Economics and Demand Side Management

I'd suggest that the horizontal axis show units of the time period used for the data, e.g., days, hours, etc., along with the numerical count of this unit. This lets the reader/user see the level of aggregation and the number of points included in the chart. I've used these curves for estimating capability of non-power processes in process industry, and I typically look at hourly average rate for 350-400 days, yielding a plot with 8400-9600 points.
