Picture Perfect edit

This is indeed an actual episode. It was originally intended for Retail-DVD and Promo use, but later contracted to broadcast markets exclusively in Asia. Those who disbelieve are encouraged to do the work I did and contact disney by phone, e-mail etc.

Picture Perfect - In this episode, a new student named Derek mysteriously transfers into Luna Vista . He turns out to be a charming and talented photographer/artist, which instantly makes him the most popular kid in school. Although everyone seems to like Derek, Lloyd has his doubts, especially after witnessing him behaving like a bully. He also wonders why Derek finds it necessary to constantly take pictures of everybody. As Derek's popularity grows, his behavior becomes more and more aggressive, although nobody seems to notice or care. In fact, Derek seems to be getting more popular by the day. Things come to breaking point when Eddie, Kurt and Douglas ditch Lloyd to join Derek's "clique", which seems more like a cult to Lloyd. Lloyd then vows to uncover the truth about Derek. He instructs station to run a data-base sample on a picture of Derek, which turns up nothing. However, Station notices a bright halo around Derek when the image is enhanced. He informs Lloyd that the halo is a common trait of shape-shifters, which allows he and Lloyd to piece everything together. He realizes that Derek is actually a shape-shifting alien from the planet Morphis, that he had assumed the role of a teenage photographer, and his camera was actually a hypnosis ray. His plan was to manipulate the students of Luna Vista by "capturing" them "through his lens." Then, he would assemble those students in an army to overtake Intrepidville. Lloyd immediately enlists the help of his mother, the commander, to remedy the situation. Derek's true form and identity are exposed, and he is sent back to the planet Morphis (which patches up it's rocky relationship with Intrepidville right at the end).

There are several theories as to why this episode remains unaired in North America. However, none of them have been confirmed by Disney.

Goofs and Fun Facts: In this episode, the students of Luna Vista do not wear seatbelts while riding the school bus. This contrasts greatly with Episode One: The Big 1-3, where they specfically mention their futuristic "bus saftey devices." Also, Lloyd and Brittany both mention to Derek that they've never dated, however, the episode Love Beam No. 9 features the two very in love and dating. Finally, Mr. Feely can be seen motionless in a background shot with Derek talking to Rodney and his clique. The scene cuts away for one brief moment, and when it returns, Mr. Feely is mysteriously gone.

Notable Quotes:

Brittany: Uh, no. I seriously don't think you and I have anything in common Derek.

Derek: Is that so?

Brittany: Yeah.

Derek: Mmhmm, you see that dorky green kid over there?

Brittany: You mean Lloyd Nebulon? What about him?

Derek: Would you believe me if I said that I've never dated him?

Brittany: Haha, you're funny Derek.

- -

Lloyd: We're not really that cool Derek. I'm just giving you a heads up.

Derek: No, you're not that cool. But I'm cool. My buddy Douglas here is cool, ain't that right Dougie?

Douglas: Um, sure.

Derek: And Eddie, you're probably like the coolest kid in Intrepidville!

Eddie: Well...maybe.

Derek: Yep, the way I see it, we're all a bunch of happening dudes. Well, all except for you Lloyd.

Lloyd: Hey!

Derek: Come'on guys, let's go grab a lunch table. Cool kids only.

Kurt: Sorry Lloyd, I guess you'll have to sit this one out.

Lloyd: Kurt!!

- -

Derek: So you guys are the bullies around here, huh?

Rodney: Yep. You got a problem with that, new kid?

Derek: No, not really. In fact, I used to be sort of the prankster myself back home.

Rodney: Yeah right.

Derek: I'll prove it. Who's the one kid around here that you hate more than anybody else?

Rodney: Mendel.

Derek: Besides him.

Rodney: Hunter?

Derek: Or him.

Rodney: Aarkvid?

Derek: He's green...

Rodney: Louis?

Derek: Rhymes with Boyd!

Rodney: Floyd the janitor!

Derek: Close enough. So I've got this plan to make Lloyd Nebulon look like a complete and total jerk, but...

Rodney: Say no more Derek. I can't stand Lloyd. We can't stand Lloyd. Just give us the plan and we're good to go. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.23.252.143 (talk) 20:14, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fan Fiction Characters edit

There is a place on the internet for Fan Fiction; Wikipedia is not that place. Unless a statement has been made by Disney officially making them canon, I'm going to delete references to those characters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.88.124.201 (talk) 23:02, 4 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
