2 mile tunnel edit

I found a note that a two mile tunnel was a proposal for a deviation in 1885 that Whitton said no to. I'm missing a book, but not seeing the initial proposals at the moment to say a tunnel was ever an initial idea. Dave Rave (talk) 01:07, 2 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Lithgow Zig Zag Railway - William A. Bayley notes on Page 6 the same above details as being an initial idea though the costing is the same as the 1885 proposal. Error ? Dave Rave (talk) 01:42, 2 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Langdon's book, page 101,104 has the tunnel (2,840yds) and costings being a proposal of 1885 by W.S. Targett for the zig zag deviation, that Whitton turned down. not the initial. Dave Rave (talk) 06:07, 16 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
