Does anyone have a good source for the all time goal scorers by country for the women? For the List of top international men's football goal scorers by country the main source is www.rsssf.com. The women players do not seem to have their own page with stats on this site. Do we need to find a source for each country individually? Edwininlondon (talk) 08:49, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

It is not immediately obvious what the numbers for Marta are. The BBC gave her goal tally as 112 as of 30 January 2020 ,see [1]. But on her own article page and the List of women's footballers with 100 or more international goals we list 108. A November 2020 news article in the Sports Daily has it as 108 from 154 caps, see [2], but is that a reliable source? Edwininlondon (talk) 08:58, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

It is not immediately obvious who the record holder for Italy is. The BBC has Patrizia Panico on 110, see [3], and the Italian Football Federation has 110, see [4]. But on her own article page and on List of women's footballers with 100 or more international goals we have it as 107. That list also has Elisabetta Vignotto on 107.
