Deletion? edit

This is not a speedy deletion, and might well stand at AfD if challenged. But it needs a definition of just which articles qualify. DGG (talk) 17:24, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Agree it is not a speedy candidate, but AfD might be good. It is a content fork of original research that was removed as unverifiable from the Space Opera article. A "List" article is not needed unless that article becomes too long. I tagged the games as disputed for now - if no sources appear, then maybe AfD is the way to go.Yobmod (talk) 07:49, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Deleting this would be a terrible idea! I refer to this page all the time!! 59.167.111.154 (talk) 04:32, 15 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

merge with space opera edit

This article only lists examples and doesn't discuss much about space opera. Likewise the space opera article lists very few examples, let alone the excellent definition on the beginning of this page very much needed to fill in missing relevant info on space opera. Support it. I think it should be merged and good exemples be featured on the main article as well as military science fiction's same list.

The Mad Hatter (talk)

Respectfully, the definition isn't excellent. It makes no attempt to define what space opera isn't or to differentiate it from SF in general or other subgenres. In fact, many of the listed works more properly belong to other subgenres particularly hard SF, comedy, etc. The list also lacks adequate citations of the so-called "independent commentators". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.115.233.77 (talk) 23:33, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

webcomics edit

Are there any notable space opera webcomics other than Schlock Mercenary? Hm. Argon Zark!, Drive; Dicebox, marginally. I haven't read enough of A Miracle of Science to decide where it belongs. —Tamfang (talk) 07:32, 21 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Spacetrawler, Zortic, Captain Mike? none of these have articles —Tamfang (talk) 23:04, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
