Image copyright problem with Image:TheRoseVideo.jpg edit

The image Image:TheRoseVideo.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Various artists compilations, list of producers, etc. edit

These two: Various artists compilations and list of Producers. Do we really need to include all these things? I don't think it's notable enough, the article is so big. I don't even think we need this list of external song writersKrystaleen (talk) 11:23, 13 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

If no one objects I'm going to remove those in about a week. Krystaleen (talk) 06:52, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
It's been a week. I'm gonna be bold and remove them.--Krystaleen (talk) 07:23, 22 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Leaked and demo songs edit

The whole section is original research and I'm ready to remove it if nobody provides a reliable source.--Krystaleen 09:33, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

Merge tag edit

I have placed a merge tag on List of original Westlife songs on the grounds that that every song should be listed in this article and therefore this is purely duplication of information. WP:SIZE is not relevant at the present time. --Richhoncho (talk) 09:23, 23 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

What about this one? I think it should be merged too By the way why is WP:SIZE not relevant at the present time?--Krystaleen 16:08, 23 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
Quite, now added the covers. Size is one of the excuses used not merge, but as the combined size of all three articles is not too big, and forgetting that there's much duplication, nobody should argue the article is too big! --Richhoncho (talk) 17:07, 23 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Unreleased songs edit

This section is littered with unreferenced entries. I'll be cleaning it out shortly.

If you add a song but don't cite a source, it will be removed. That's a waste of your time and mine.

If you have a reliable source and are adding a song, you must cite the source. If you do not have a reliable source, don't add the song. - SummerPhDv2.0 20:42, 1 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

MOS edit

Per WP:MOS, song titles go in quotation marks and album titles are italicized. I'll fix this after I clean out the unreferenced bits described above. - SummerPhDv2.0 20:44, 1 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Unclear wording edit

"22 songs were released as singles, 12 were promotional singles, and 4 songs have been included to their other charted songs list so far."

  • Doe the 22 "singles" include the 12 "promotional singles"? It is unclear whether this piece is discussing 22 songs or 34 (22 + 12).
  • "4 songs have been included to their other charted songs list so far." makes no obvious sense on its own.

Failing discussion to clarify this section, I will simply remove it. - SummerPhDv2.0 14:35, 26 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
