Talk:List of songs recorded by Beyoncé

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

This page is referenced throughly and is a long awaited for page due to this atrist being in the industry for years now. If artists such as Britney Spears and Rihanna have "list of songs" pages than an artist with as many songs as Beyoncé should have one too. All the songs on this page are proven to be fact with only additions of songs to be made.

Unofficially released songs edit

"Unofficially released songs" <--- what in the world does that even mean??? - eo (talk) 18:10, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Released Songs edit

The released songs section currently lists songs from her own albums and collaborations. I think the collaborations only need to be listed once, in the collaborations section. What does everyone else think...? 68.192.41.246 (talk) 22:59, 12 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

An image used in this article, File:FRANK-OCEAN.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:FRANK-OCEAN.jpg)

Award winning!... edit

Whoever over-hauled this page deserves a trophy, recognition and a 9 to 5 better cut that check! This is AMAZING!!! As the original creator of the original less-than-great page "List of songs," I have to stop by here and give credit where credit is due! 68.161.138.96 (talk) 17:53, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh thank you. It's nice to know my work does not go by unnoticed. Thank you wholeheartedly. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 18:11, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

.... edit

"End of Time" and "I Care" already been confirmed as a single. "One Night Only (Disco)", "Si Yo Fuera un Chico", "Sing a Song" was released in Music Download, "What's It Gonna Be" was released in Music Download and CD single. So, it's are singles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Silencio faz bem (talkcontribs) 18:35, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

As I requested kindly wait for 4 singles. They have not been released yet. "One Night Only" is a promo single nut not ""One Night Only (Disco)"". ""Si Yo Fuera un Chico"" was released in Spain to boost sales, not to chart as another stand alone single. "Sing a Song" is a single? But why? Only because it was released to iTunes? What's the album's name? "What's It Gonna Be" is a single and from DIL album? OMG, how could I have missed that? It's promo single I see. The world know that DIL had proper four singles. So, I am sorry for the least one. I am dding it here. Can you please add it to her discography page? Jivesh1205 (Talk) 18:45, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Promo single is just a variation of single. Anyway "One Night Only (Disco)" and "Si Yo Fuera Un Chico" was digitally released in several countries, therefore Single.

Silencio faz bem (talk) 18:55, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have changed "What's It Gonna Be". It's promo single. This is not "One Night Only (Disco)". Again, the Spanish version of "IF I Were a Boy" did not chart separately. It boosted sales. There's huge difference between these two things. How does "Sing a Song" become a single? It should be from a certain album or movie soundtrack or a serial? If yes, feel free to change it to single. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 19:00, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
Beyoncé recorded the song for the soundtrack of the film Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!: Wubb Idol, where he tells. Silencio faz bem (talk) 19:04, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
She recorded it, right? Bu how does it become a single? Because it was released to iTunes? When was the soundtrack released? Was the song part of a countdown? Jivesh1205 (Talk) 19:06, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
I Don't Know. Silencio faz bem (talk) 19:10, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
iTunes label everything as single but songs do not become singles for that only. Can you please add What's It Gonna Be" to her discography page as a promo single? Jivesh1205 (Talk) 19:13, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wait, if "What's It Gonna Be" has a CD single, it should be a single then. — Status {talkcontribs 04:24, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

For heaven's sake, are you trying to say that Dangerously in Love had 5 singles? And that "Baby Boy" was not the second single? Don't forget that DIL was an era where airplay meant more than physical and download sales. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 04:45, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
No? "What's It Gonna Be" wasn't even on the album, was it? And from the looks of the cover, it was used to promote L'oreal anyway, so it would be a non-album single. — Status {talkcontribs 05:53, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
Zach, I know what I have written and it was on DIL. And a song does not become a single just because it was used to promote a cream. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 17:42, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

"Die with You" edit

"Die with You" should be listed once someone can determine the song's writer(s). Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:58, 5 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
