Incorrect populations edit

Populations are incorrect when you click on the highlighted towns, I would be most grateful if this was dealt with as a matter of urgency. Thanks for listening. HellyRaze.jRight (talk) 16:29, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'll give a comprehensive answer at some stage if required, but to sum up, the counts as mentioned in the article is a settled area count defined by the ONS, not counts defined by local authorities. Watford's urban population count and defined area is taken from here. Oxhey is clearly a part of that area. The town's article page states the population given is the borough count. Two different measures and neither is wrong. Check the article prose, closely scrutinise and appreciate the definition of an urban area. Regards, The Equalizer (talk) 17:44, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
