Talk:List of missions to Venus

Delete Ikaros? edit

Perhaps we should delete IKAROS from this list-- it was not really a probe to Venus, it was a test of a solar sail system that happened to pass slightly near Venus because it was a rideshare on a Venus mission. 206.117.40.12 (talk) 18:35, 7 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Pioneer Venus 2's Day Probe soft landed and transmitted rom the surface for over an hour. [1][2][3][4][5][6]

Change backgroundcolour edit

In the outcome column the backgroundcolor for "mostly successful" missions and "operational" mission (Akatsuki) is the same. I don't know how to do this, but since operational missions to other planets are a darker shade of blue somebody should change it.
