Text deletion edit

I can not understand why Gyrobo DELETE my text? If he has any additional info, he can add it. But DELETION is a destiny of wimps... METIfan (talk) 04:23, 5 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

The text you have repeatedly added [1] is unsourced and it uses terminology (METI, Pseudo-METI) that either doesn't exist, or cannot be verified due to the lack of sources. Being an expert does not entitle you to add unsourced material without the burden of evidence. And please be civil and refrain from personal attacks [2], [3].

Confusing terminology edit

What is the purpose of the Classification of interstellar radio messages section? What is the criteria for distinguishing between types of Active SETI projects? The original text said that two of the messages were not "serious", without going into detail. Is this section even necessary? Perhaps a column for total number of transmissions could be added to the Current transmissions on route table?

Wow edit

The "Wow reply" was not aimed at the putative sources of the Wow! signal, Chi Sagittarii. The "reply" instead, went to stars in Gemini. Kortoso (talk) 01:36, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Signal strength edit

The signal strength of these messages doesn't appear to be logged here. Based on the distance to their targets, would the intended receivers be able to detect the remaining signal and distinguish it from background noise? Kortoso (talk)
