Seemingly arbitrary use of "(since - )" edit

The usage of "(since- )" seems to have absolutely no rhyme or reason to it, perhaps I may need a bit of clarification but I would propose that all dates in this article are removed except for in the case that the party is defunct (such as with the Green Initiative party of Argentina)
