Logical languages

Lojban and Loglan are hardly auxilary languages - they're logical languages (created primarily to test Sappir-Whorf hypothesis). But that would require a third category.

The Expanse - Belter Patois Language?

IMHO, yes, among fictional languages, or better, artistic languages (see previous section), since the language itself has a significant fandom, occasional classes, and an ever-growing lexicon. In real-world discussion it's called lang Belta; in English, Belter Creole, or often also lang Belta:

Belter Creole, often referred to simply as "Belter", is the cultural language spoken by many Belters. The Belter term for the language itself is lang Belta. (quoted from The Expanse Wiki)

Removing items from these lists

This atricle lists numerous languages that don't seem to meet the criteria of constructed languages: a clearly defined phonology, grammar (syntax and morphology), and vocabulary. Specifially many of the languages in the Artistic/fictional languages section don't. For example, nothing is known about the phonology and grammar of Orwell's Newspeak, and little about its vocabulary. (I don't remember if Orwell cites a full sentence in Newspeak. Anyway, if Orwell created a language that diverges more than any local dialect from Standard English he concealed it from his readers.) Other items seem to exist only as random syllables rather than languages. They are certainly not what linguists, and conlangers who spend a lifetime developing languages, call constructed languages. Not even close to that.

I am afraid I don't know how to identify the would-be languages, so my proposal is to delete all questionable entries and only add new ones if they are sufficiently sourced with a description that covers the above-mentioned three basic elements of language. Toki Pona Wikipedia

The article mentions that there was a Wikipedia in Toki Pona, which was deleted. The Toki Pona community has since created their own lipu Wikipesija, should this be mentioned in that section aswell? Catgirl-su (talk) 07:37, 10 April 2023 (UTC)

It should be mentioned in the main article on Toki Pona rather than here, I think.
