Species likely to occur in India

edit

It has been suggested by Dr S Kalesh, an amateur naturalist in India specialising in the study of Hesperiidae, that the following two species of Awls (genus Hasora) could possibly be also found in India.

  • Hasora simplicissima (Mabille, 1876) Simple Awl correctly Hasora mixta (Mabille, 1876)
As per card for simplicissima[1] in LepIndex, this is a subspp of Hasora mixta (Mabille, 1876).[2]
The spp mixta is mentioned in the TOLWeb on genus Hasora.[3], but has no mention of simplicissima.
