Shouldn't there be a reference to the Johnson Street bridge in Victoria, British Columbia? This bridge was designed by Joseph Strauss, the designer of the Golden Gate Bridge, and is one of the few remaining bascule bridges in North America - perhaps the last one. It will shortly be demolished by the City of Victoria as building a new bridge is a cheaper choice.[1]Peanutflower (talk) 21:30, 6 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
