Page size edit

This page is 575,276 bytes long, which is far too big. What's the best way to subdivide it? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 18:49, 10 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

would suggest to include rowspan & colspan to reduce the "bytes space"

I did something similar at List of Rocksmith DLC. The Visual Editor makes cell merges very easy to accomplish. -- ferret (talk) 14:52, 13 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
There are, AIUI, accessibilty issues with that; in any case, it won't make a sufficienlty large difference to the page size. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 23:42, 21 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Are there any suggestions for splitting this article? An easy way to cut the size of the table is reducing the columns for release date from four to one, only showing the first release. There are also minor columns which are mostly unused and can be removed. Venomous Sniper and Ferret, merging cells in this table is definitely a good idea and is likely to make a significant difference. Onetwothreeip (talk) 03:40, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
Any objection to splitting the article in half alphabetically? Onetwothreeip (talk) 06:18, 6 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
None from me, but be prepared to see immediate opposition afterwards. That's what happens with the Switch list. It was split with size in mind, then the talk page exploded about how users couldn't sort the full list anymore, etc. Now editors complain about the size but I won't touch it until the technical reason is met for the split. There is no technical reason to split this list currently, due to massive amounts of unsourced entries, you have not hit the template post-expand limits. Currently, Post-expand include size 1,301,232/2,097,152 bytes. -- ferret (talk) 13:53, 6 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'm not entirely sure about this, but wouldn't removing the add-ons and the Xbox One compatibility reduce the size a bit? I was wondering if we could list the compatibility of stuff and make a little note on the ones that have wikipages. Also wouldn't it hurt to have the regions be the same as others such as JP, NA, EU, AU / PAL? Zacharyalejandro (talk) 21:03, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

I think we should ask the project at large. Come over here. Zero Serenity (talk - contributions) 22:37, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
There should be a link from there to here instead. I don't see a need for the add-ons or the Xbox One compatibility either. The main change which is inevitable is splitting the list from #-L and M-Z. Onetwothreeip (talk) 04:51, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

There’s are page for many add on listing games associated with the console. Kinect for 360 should have a page too fit all Kinect games from A–L too M–Z. Doremon764 (talk) 06:14, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
