Order edit

Wouldn't it make more sense for the default sort to be by city or date of establishment? The current default listing order is confusing, --nsaum75¡שיחת! 00:04, 22 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

You are absolutely right. This is just the way I've always done these, in alphabetical order by name of courthouse. However, this alphabetizing is rather arbitrary for a series of structures named "United States" something. Let's change them all to name of city first, then earliest date for courthouses in the same city. bd2412 T 01:06, 22 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Jefferson ones edit

There's a row here for a building in Jefferson, Texas, with photo showing it as a brick, probably Richardsonian Romanesque architecture-type building. I think this is then not the same as the Greek Revival architecture, NRHP-listed Old U.S. Post Office and Courts Building (Jefferson, Texas). But i dunno if the latter should be added here, or what. --doncram (talk) 20:17, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

The address is the same. It is highly unlikely that these are two different buildings. What is the construction date for the NRHP building? Maybe they just listed the wrong architectural style. Cheers! bd2412 T 02:34, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Laredo edit

Just leaving a note for future users or myself that the 2004 Laredo courthouse will probably be re-named for George P. Kazen ([1]). It looks like it will take effect when he leaves office. kennethaw88talk 00:52, 21 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
