Count edit

The press release for the USS Lyndon B. Johnson (DDG-1002) says it is the "34th ship named by the Navy after a U.S. president.". Be interesting to see if this list can be reconciled to that figure from the Defense Department. — MrDolomite • Talk 17:15, 17 April 2012 (UTC) Did they mean the 34th President for whom a ship was named, rather than the 34th ship (how are multiple ships named for the same President counted)? Does "named by the Navy" mean that Navy ships named by others are not included in the count?47.139.42.28 (talk) 19:29, 1 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Gerald Ford edit

note 3 states Ford was elected vice president, but he wasn't. he was appointed as vice president under the 25th amendment. 24.154.215.113 (talk) 12:20, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
