Book One Release Date edit

I think the release date is wrong for Region 1. That or Wal-Mart has released it early. I saw copies at two different Wal-Marts, the first on Thursday and then again yesterday. And this wasn't them advertising a coming soon thing either, I picked the DVD up to check what was on there. Just the first eight episodes with no special features. It's selling for $15, five bucks cheaper than Season 1 Volume 1 of the original (which is placed right beside it) and both had several copies out. So that puts the release date at possibly October 14th if Wal-Mart was not releasing early. -annonymous 10/16/2011 3:32 AM EST — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.64.14.252 (talk) 07:32, 16 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Season sub-articles edit

Why was the article split up into multiple articles? There aren't nearly enough episodes/seasons to warrant such a change. The main article and the season one article are essentially the same apart from the existence plot summaries. The season one page adds nothing of real value. The only issue with the main article was that the plot summaries were too long. (This issue isn't even dealt with in the subarticle.) I'm prepared to revert the changes if there isn't sufficient justification. nhjm449 (talk) 06:42, 8 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

if the main aritcle was gettuing large splitting is justified, because as seaosn 2 3 4 etc come it will get larger, it pretty much standard to split otu seaosn to ther eown article and leave the list as jsuta list with no summaries--Andrewcrawford (talk - contrib) 09:55, 8 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Nevermind the fact that it's not two seasons, it's one 26 episode season that's been broken up into two blocks. - Chris McFeely (talk) 19:35, 10 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
do you havea source for that, if so we can keep seaosn 1 as 26 episodes else we have to go with what the sources tell us--Andrewcrawford (talk - contrib) 19:53, 10 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
The 26 episodes were ordered/produced all at once, but with official sources saying that #13 is the season finale, there's not much that can be done. Anyways, if the plot summaries were shortened (which they need to be, regardless of where they are), the article would most definitely not be "too long" compared to *lots* of other episode lists. Splitting episode lists up is not common, especially for shows with such few seasons/episodes. nhjm449 (talk) 06:33, 11 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Merge ThunderCats (2011 TV series season 1) into this article edit

Since the cancellation is official now, there's really no purpose in having a separate "list of episodes" and "season 1" article. All of the information from the season 1 article should be merged into this one. Byakuya Truelight (talk) 12:55, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

The other article is 69,705 bytes. I think this article looks fine the way it is. Nothing gained by merging it. Feel free to tag both articles with a merge tag and start a discussion if you think enough people would want it. I vote against. Dream Focus 13:28, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

You are invited to join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television § List of ThunderCats (2011 TV series) episodes issue. Discussion is about whether to merge the contents of this article back to ThunderCats (2011 TV series) as per MOS:TVSPLIT. --IJBall (contribstalk) 18:26, 5 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
