I'd like to see a reference for Elisha Cuthbert attending Queen's, I don't believe she did. 64.230.104.67 21:05, 15 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Regarding Frontier College... edit

I am unsure as to why this was deleted. This is an important part in Canadian history. The reference is included at the bottom now (albeit incorrectly, as I do not undertand how to do it correctly). I hope it stays up this time! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.159.81.112 (talk) 16:10, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Description denotation edit

Right now, the explanatory info for each person is marked inconsistently. Most use either the double-dash "--" (which really shouldn't be used when the em dash is available) or the comma, but there are a few others thrown in there. The Manual of Style states this is the role of the en dash, so I'm going to try to quickly reformat these all to be consistent. I'll do this changes and only these changes within 1 edit so that it can be reverted if there are strong objections...but, IMO, there really shouldn't be! It's not my personal preference, but it's what the manual says, and there isn't a consistent real-world guideline for this anyway—certainly not at Queen's, anyway! :P —Skittleys (talk) 01:29, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability and sources edit

Lots of people with questionable notability here. Just because you have a PHd, are a vice president, or write songs does not make you notable. This list needs to be pruned. We also need to provide reliable sources "attesting to the fact that the named person is a member of the listed group". See Wikipedia:Notability (people) and wp:NLIST. -- BC  talk to me 03:51, 8 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
