PLEASE put an article with each name. Dead links have been removed. Encyclopedias have information, red links contain no information, thanks, WayneRay 16:31, 7 May 2006 (UTC) WayneRayReply

I agree. In the absense of references asserting the notability of the redlinked names, we have no way of knowing if they are notable or just random people, so they can be removed. I've done so for the redlinked names that have accumulated recently. -kotra (talk) 08:00, 26 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mian Muhammad Bakhsh edit

I think 'Mian Muhammad Bakhsh' should also be included in the list. Does anyone have enough data/infromation to start an article on 'Mian Muhammad Bakhsh'? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.81.221.253 (talkcontribs) 11 November 2006

This has been resolved now (article on him has been created, and he is now included in the list). -kotra (talk) 08:00, 26 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neither Faiz nor Iqbal ever wrote anything in Punjabi. They were Punjabi by ethnicity but wrote in Urdu. This is a page for Punjabi LANGUAGE poets, not Punjabi poets —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.201.225.216 (talk) 07:51, 23 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Guru Nanak as a peot edit

I think we should consider Guru Nanak as poet too as he is one the best poets in the history of punjabi language. Just for a reference see this --Satdeep gill (talkcontribs 18:07, 11 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
