Please improve the article

The article is intended for Pump It Up players and Andamiro Fans with specific interest because the list of songs is made to give information about the song and its own background video. The deletion will lose the public information.

Note that I cannot solve the multiple issues since I am new to Wikipedia and I only use the basic usage of wiki with table, fonts, external links and references. I do not know how to improve with the following issues: incline citations, primary source, additional citations, intricate detail, and notability guideline. For those who are skilled in those issues, please improve the article similar to the competing list of songs:

Game files ID Removal

The ID column is not WP:INDISCRIMINATE, as those are the ID's given by the game's data files themselves. They are much more autoreactive than the "Final appearance" column, or the "Genre" labels that aren't in the game itself (the game itself only have Original, K-Pop, J-Pop, World Music, Remix, Shortcut, Xross, Full Song). Sounds highly indiscriminate to me. "Excessive listings of unexplained statistics". The column doesn't mean anything and is completely unimportant information to include. And don't worry, I'll be going through the other columns soon enough. ItsKesha (talk) 19:01, 16 October 2020 (UTC)

The ID is not statistics, and means a lot to those using it. They are game file ID's, which serves multiple purposes. 1. They verify that songs are not missing, miscategorized, or duplicated. 2. Disambiguate tracks with same names when searching other sites for info/simfiles. 3. Determines the sort order, both in game and on the page. 4. Shows crossover information from the Pro/Infinity series to the main series. It's a list of songs, not a song directory. ID numbers are completely unnecessary. As per WP:NOTDIRECTORY and as per WP:INDISCRIMINATE. If the article was well sourced, songs wouldn't be missing or in the wrong place or duplicated. The reason why Guitar Hero doesn't have this column is because there wasn't a universal ID that is easily attributed to. Additionally, well sourcing the article is next to impossible, given the difficulty of finding screenshots/videos of old mixes. If you think you can source the article, then the right order of taking the action would be to source first to make the IDs no longer necessary, before deleting them altogether, as it is preferred that good-faith additions remain on the article pending consensus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Content_removal#Consensus_on_removal

There's a reason Guitar Hero is a featured list and this has "multiple issues" spaffed across the top of the article. You have addressed none of the issues I have raised regarding Wikipedia policy. If making the article well sourced is impossible, why should the inclusion of a non-important ID number help anything? What purpose does it actually serve to the quality of this article? The biggest contributor to quality given by the ID are: 1. Sorting order. Without the ID the current sorting order and the sorting order of the lists with primary sources (like XX) are difficult to make sense of. 2. It allows the users (including myself) of the list to piece together information from multiple other sources, and serves as a proxy to the a primary source where there isn't one for the old mixes. I reread both policies, and I believe I have already addressed why the ID is important and does not fit under them. The ID's are not random, and provides a well understood ordering for people to append or fix the list in the future. Many other lists have ordering identifiers to attached them, like books in a series https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Goosebumps_books. Even if it does fall under the policy, that alone is not a reason to blanket delete an entire column, since https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Blanking_sections_sometimes_violates_policies also applies, especially before there is a consensus.

The reason for the "multiple issues" is not the ID, but other things like BGA and notes, the removal of the former I mostly agreed with you on. Additionally, if the person who placed the "multiple issues" though ID was the obvious thing they should clean up, they would have done so since they were a regular editor of this page. Let's clean up the rest of the document first, then if the ID is still contributing significantly to the clutter, we can revisit this discussion. As in the Guitar Hero article, you can have every column sortable. That's the biggest argument you had and you blew it. The Goosebumps books were released in order and every book has the number on it, and so that article having the number is far more valid, the ID for a song in a computer game is totally non-important. OK, implement this sort for me, so that it will sort by ID order without showing the ID, even if I changed the sort order, or accidentally add a row in the wrong position. If you can do that, thank you. Otherwise, the community will be the judge.

You will ignore the in-game order, as well as the order given by Andamiro's primary references, in favor of your own. I don't think there's any point for me to try to convince you any longer. The three sources given have a) no mention whatsoever of an ID number, and b) a different order from the one within the article. Have you checked the sources? Because quite frankly it would appear not. Whether I have played the game or not is irrelevant, what matters is making the list readable to anybody and everybody, not to specific players of the game, which is literally one of the major issues with the article! I have in fact checked the sources, since I am currently building a list of my own with step chart difficulties for my own use. That's why I noticed the editing to start with. The sort order is categories (like PIU orignal), then ID order, which for later mixes is mostly just ID order. This page looks messy.

(Edited) Yes, this page looks "messy", and has to be updated due to 2.08.0 patch on Pump It Up XX, which came out a month ago. The section In-house artists also should be updated, as it hasn't been updated fully.

This is a serious problem, as this page is non-popular. Please improve this page by updating it. Adding more reference to the page is also necessary, since this page really lacks reference. I cannot fix this since this is a big issue. Thank you for reading this.

About Blue Moon and cancelled songs

@TargonRedDragonEven though Blue Moon wasn't in the game, I disagree with the user who deleted the entry, since we have confirmation that the song was supposed to be in the game. Perhaps you can add it again with a footnote explaining the cancelation a bit further? Another option would be to have a section dedicated to cancelled songs in the game.
