Western/Eastern event names? edit

I am considering listing both the eastern and western names for each event. Sadly I can't read Japanese and don't know of a site that lists the Japanese names in English. Can anyone help? The ones I do know are:

  • Pride 31 - English: Unbreakable / Japanese: Dreamers
  • Pride 30 - English: Fully Loaded / Japanese: Starting Over

PRIDE 32 edit

Details are a bit scarce[1], but I've assume PRIDE's first American event will follow the usual numbering convention and won't be seperate event, like Shockwave or the tournament shows. Please edit if more info becomes available. --- Trench 20:19, 28 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Just checked the Japanese official PRIDE website and The Real Deal is definately listed as being PRIDE 32[2]. Looks like I guessed right --- Trench 19:28, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Non- PRIDE events? edit

There are two events listed on this page that I do not believe are actual PRIDE events, just ones with similar names. While is mentioned in this link [3] that PRIDE has sent fighters to some of these events, I do not believe that makes them actual PRIDE events. Also, at this link [4] it mentioned in several places that some fighters are "Sponsored by PRIDE" but it does not say that this was an actual PRIDE event. Lewis 06:56, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

IMO, if the show was promoted (or co-promoted) by DSE under the PRIDE brand, then its a PRIDE show. Sponsorship is not promotion, they're very distinct. Cooperation is also not specific enough to mean promotion or co-promotion. Sending fighters is also nothing, that's like saying the 2003 PRIDE Grand Prix events were UFC events just because Chuck Liddell was there. hateless 19:51, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
These events ('Pride & Honor' and 'Bushido Europe - Rotterdam Rumble') do not appear to be official PRIDE events. The Bushido Europe official page has a "sponsored by PRIDE" mention. On the other hand, the events are not mentioned at all in any official PRIDE location, and are not included in PRIDE fighters PRIDE records. Absent some documentation that these are official events, I think they should go. Gnfnrf 22:34, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Date Format edit

It would be good if the dates of the events were in dd-mmm-yyyy format rather than mm/dd/yyyy, as this avoids confusion in countries where the dates are normally expressed with the day first.

An additional list for PrideGP? edit

Should there be an additional list for PrideGP specific events? There has been some interest in making separate, or combining, the Total Eleminiation/(Critical Countdown)/Final Conflict articles for each specific tournament. Toodiesel (talk) 22:24, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I guess that might be a good idea. I guess. I kinda like having the every pride event ever regardless of format list allot better myself but I fail to see how the addition of a secondary list to go along with this one wouldn't be a bad idea. Now somebody just has to make it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.132.0.255 (talk) 11:58, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

DVD's edit

Could a colum be added that lists weather or not the event is available for DVD or not? Also it could list which regions the DVD's are available in as I know that there are a few that were only released in japan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.132.0.255 (talk) 12:03, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
