I made a few changes were "Trupp" was incorrectly translated as squad instead of team. In the process I noticed some notes regarding 4th, 8th, and 12th companies in infantry regiments. According to the TO&E, these companies were the heavy weapons companies of the battalions, so there is no need either to specify them as MG or note a discrepancy in sources. - and Richtschütze is closer to gun layer. The Geschützführer was not the Richtschütze MisterBee1966 (talk) 15:35, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
- unless otherwise specified the "Richtschütze" is also the ""Geschützführer". Or the other way round, the "Geschützführer" directs the fire of the gun, i.e. he acts as "Richtschütze". Confusing, I know. ÄDA - DÄP VA (talk) 16:42, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
