Merging micro stubs edit

In the same way as has been done at List of English cricketers (1787–1825), I suggest that a long process of converting the article into tabular format, adding details and references, double checking those included and checking for as many who have not been included as can be found and then merging micro stubs such as Argent (Middlesex cricketer) be undertaken here.

The rationale for merging is as expanded on at Talk:List of English cricketers (1787–1825) - essentially that WP:MERGEREASON 3 - very short text applies. This will be restricted to those articles where we have a surname or surname and initials only and where the articles lack further biographical information. Each article will be tagged for at least a week before merging and there may be some exclusions made, depending on what information is available on individuals. Further research may turn up other biographical information which is part of the rationale behind merging rather than sending articles to AfD. Blue Square Thing (talk) 11:57, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

These are now done. I need to work through to check if there are any missing before rewriting the lead section. Blue Square Thing (talk) 07:48, 27 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
List is now believed to be complete. One more merge to do after I found a rogue one today... Blue Square Thing (talk) 10:54, 22 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
