Vandalism

This page (and others with regard to television coverage...Brickyard 400, Coke Zero 400) has had quite a bit of vandalism lately. Someone keeps putting NBC as the TV network for 2016, as well as for other years here and there. That is just plain wrong. Fox has an exclusive contract for the Daytona 500 through 2024. The current contract is NOT formatted like the 2001-2006 contract (rotated Daytona each year). Vandalism will be reverted, and if it continues to be a problem, will be reported. • It's been happening again. An unregistered editor/editors have been falsely editing this article to suggest that the Daytona 500 is back to alternating. It is not. Fox has exclusive coverage through 2024. Doctorindy↔Talk 17:54, 29 August 2016 (UTC)

Vandalism II

User Huyandrew99 (talk · contribs) / 72.220.189.39 (talk · contribs) has repeatedly engaged in disruptive editing behavior of this article; pertaining to the current and future television rights holder of the Daytona 500 telecast. On multiple occasions, the editor has changed the article to state that the rights alternate between FOX and NBC, without sources, when it does not. Reliable sources previously cited in the article make it clear that the Fox family of networks has exclusive rights to the first half of the NASCAR season (including Daytona 500) through the 2024 season. @Doctorindy: I actually brought the user to ANI as they have been doing similar damage to some articles I edit over a number of months. Both accounts have now been blocked for a week. If it continues when they return I will seek a renewed block. --- PageantUpdater (talk) 03:14, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
