At some point before the demise of the league, AFL officials changed to the more usual (and less colorful) black-and-white stripes. If someone knows the season the change was made, it would make a good addition to the article. 1968 and 69.
Question when did the AFL start using the line judge? The NFL didn't use it until 1965, did the NFL "steal this" as well or did the AFL adopted it in 65 or later? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.116.191.43 (talk) 17:35, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
