Father or stepfather?
editThis article was edited to describe Michael Madigan as Lisa's stepfather. The article of Michael himself decribes her as his daughter. Which is it? A blood or a step relation??? Anyone has a source to prove she's the stepchild and not related by blood to Madigan? -- fdewaele, 12 February 2007, 13:03.
- I found this [1] which implies Michael Madigan adopted her when he married her divorced mother. That makes him her father, not step-father. Flatterworld 06:23, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- Another source is Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun-Times [2] (May 10, 2006) who claims 'step daughter'. I've generally seen 'father' and 'daughter' in Chicago news coverage of them. Flatterworld 06:28, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- She was a step-daughter at age 10, when her mother, Shirley Murray, married Michael. Later, in her 20's, Michael legally adopted her. (Rising Star [3], Illinois Times, Feb. 5, 2009) --Spiffy sperry (talk) 18:38, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
