-I must politely interject to state that I don't know if other scenes were shot in Chicago never having seen the movie, but to note that it was either only shot in, or was also shot in Lincolnwood, Illinois. As an 11 year-old boy growing up in Skokie on the Lincolnwood border, I happened while out playing upon the set of the movie. I never got any closer than anyone else present that wasn't part of the filming, however I did talk to a man working on the set who told Me that Michael J. Fox and Joan Jett were present, and that they were filming a movie called, "Light of Day." The movie was thus either shot both in Lincolnwood, Illinois, and Chicago, or it was only in Lincolnwood, which is a suburb of Chicago. It would be inaccurate for Me to say for certain that it was either Lincolnwood alone, or Chicago and Lincolnwood, but having been present I do know that it was shot in Lincolnwood. I also know that scenes were filmed at the Yorktown Mall in Lombard, IL in front of Montgomery Wards. I worked with people there that witnessed it.  :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.135.144.67 (talk) 03:06, 23 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I changed the film location from Cleveland Heights, OH to Cleveland, OH. The Euclid Tavern is located in University Circle, which is a neighborhood of Cleveland, not Cleveland Heights. The opening and closing scenes of the film were shot here. There is also an outside shot of the old Cleveland Agora.Maki79 (talk) 20:34, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Light of day.jpg edit

Image:Light of day.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Light of Day edit

Was this ever released to DVD? Chubbles (talk) 21:17, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I also want to depict that Light of Day is a modern take of the book The Scarlett Letter. The similiarities are profound in that Patty refuses to reveal who the father is of her child. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.135.144.67 (talk) 03:17, 23 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
