Okay, who let this obvious vandalism stay so long? "This place is now ruled by the fearless person known to be Gute Sanches" put in by 70.251.108.104 on November 20, 2006! It has been picked up by half a dozen sites using wiki info. If someone said Joey Salceda (governor of Albay now) or Fernando Gonzales (governor of Albay 2002-2007 and former mayor) and his wife, Elizabeth, the present mayor, ruled Ligao, I would know what they were talking about, as they are very influential, but the Philippines is a constitutional democracy without "rulers".
Removed all the external links as they either no longer worked or linked to sites not related to Ligao. Mike Nassau (talk) 02:07, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

There is a discussion regarding the removal of the word "city" from the article titles of Philippine cities. This may imminently affect the article name for Ligao. For city names which are not unique, disambiguation alternatives are also being presented. Formal request for page move may follow after a reasonable time of discussion.
