For starters, it would help if Childe was referred to in a reliable source. One source is presently listed that is not Childe himself. It is listed as Psychophysiological Correlates of Spiritual Experience, Biofeedback; 29(4):13-17. Childre D, McCraty R (2001). Is this a scientific journal called Biofeedback? I am unable to find this on googling "Biofeedback journal". You need to add some additional reference so that I am able to verify this source, such as a url or issn number. And I might add, even if this is a mainstream scientific journal, this independent source alone would not be sufficient to satisfy the notability requirements. __meco (talk) 14:21, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

Hello everyone,

I have located that journal. It appears to be scientific, as I found it through the local University library. Apparently issues from 2001 to 2008 can be read for free by everyone, online (more recent ones only for Assiciation members). I also located that article which is cited in the W.P. article on Mr Childre ('only had a glance at it though, for lack of time).

Here you are:

Print edition: ISSN 2158-348X

Electronic edition: E-ISSN 1081-5937

Annual volumes (4 issues each). Vol. 36 is of the year 2008; Vol. 29 = 2001 (i.e. containing the literature source cited in the W.P. article).

Access via Scientific libraries or via the Association Homepage directly.

Addition: I noticed that several of his books have also been translated (German is the one I saw; that is not surprising since the second largest book market in the world - or at least "western" world - is in that language, as far as I know; other versions may exist as well). I needed this

That's great Meco, I am working on all that you have said, it seams like he is a very shy man and there is little or no info on the web. I have been able to get hold of one of the other scientist a Dr Bradley, as soon as I get the information you asked for I will pop it on the page. hopefully it with be more than one article let see what I come up with.

BTW how do I get hold of ISDN or ISSN number from a published article?

References are dead links

The original links for sources all point to credential-locked webpages, and all the archive links in the reference section point to webcitation pages with dead DB connections. Very problematic for an article that espouses such fringe views? Could somebody more familiar with the article history / subject matter please address this? ƒin (talk) 09:39, 9 February 2022 (UTC)

webcte has been down a while it may or may not come back. There's nothing preventing someone from switching to archive.org or archive.today if they feel it is important. -- GreenC 14:20, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
