Simpsons named a character after him... edit

Is it known what his reaction was to the evidently coincidental appearance of his name ("You remember / Leonard Skinner? / He got ptomaine pois'ning last night after dinner!") in Allan Sherman's classic parody song? Dave Zobel (talk) 16:50, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
The Lynyrd Skynyrd article's Early years section currently notes that the band's name "was in part a reference to a character named 'Leonard Skinner' in Allan Sherman's novelty song 'Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh' and in part a mocking tribute to P.E. teacher Leonard Skinner".
