Population for Leon Springs edit
Ok, this can't possibly be correct - there are tens of thousands of people within 5 miles of that area. The link seems to only be counting people in "communities" as opposed to general population. I'm not sure what that means, but it isn't returning a correct estimate. Is there some other source for this or can I help you find one? Kuru (talk) 19:12, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
- Here is the GNIS page for Leon Springs (which BTW, should be added in the article either in the infobox or as a reference). There are some numbers that may help you. If you cannot reliably source it, do not include it. Sorry if I am appearing "short", but I'm at work and cannot take the time to do anything detailed. - @John from Idegon:, I suspect that there's not going to be a set of boundary vectors in any of the usual sources - it may be identified as a point. Also at work and can't check immediately. If it's just a point you're limited to "population within X miles" or such. Five miles clips significant portions of the northern San Antonio suburbs, and would be a wacky number. Is this all just WP:OR we should avoid, or is there some standard for non-incorporated "communities"? Kuru (talk) 20:01, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
- Unless an unincorporated community closely corresponds to an individual census tract, my best advice would be to leave it out. If we do not know where it starts and ends, how can we determine how many people live there? John from Idegon (talk) 20:15, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
