Muslim and relevance

That article reads to me as if he's not, "I have a few friends that are Muslim" and "I'd never played with Muslim players before... but I get on perfectly well with them" would be incredibly strange things to say if he was one himself. It does sound more as if he's speaking of them as an outsider, and I would have thought he'd refer to himself within the group of Muslim players at Newcastle if he was.

I did find a more recent Daily Mail story which states he is Muslim, but other than page clones it's the only place I've found that does say he is. I remember when there were rumours of him moving to Celtic a couple of years back the fact he was an Irish Catholic was raised as a point of interest, and I know he went to a Catholic school as a child, but obviously he may have converted since then. I'd leave it out until he clarifies either way, and unless it influences his career at all it's probably not worth worrying about. BulbaThor (talk) 17:41, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

Wrong timestamp

As of "21:36, 21 September 2013 (UTC)", he had 10 caps and 1 goal; not 11 caps and 2 goals. As of today, he has 13 caps and 2 goals. Page locked because of another user's edit warring over timestamps and the timestamps aren't even correct. Says it all.... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.44.243.163 (talk)
