Proposed merge with Genocide: Its Political Use in the Twentieth Century edit

The result of this discussion was: no consensus to merge. zazpot (talk) 21:08, 16 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Genocide: Its Political Use in the Twentieth Century is a stub article and it would be better if it were part of the Leo Kuper article as he was the author of that book. The Leo Kuper article is well referenced and structured and the merge of the stub would improve the Leo Kuper article. Wayne Jayes (talk) 20:34, 12 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Don't merge. Genocide: Its Political Use in the Twentieth Century is indeed a stub article, but that is because it is only a few hours old and the Wikipedians active in this area haven't yet had time to expand it. The book that it covers is notable in its own right, meeting the relevant criteria, and as such it should stand alone as a separate article. However, I agree that Genocide: Its Political Use in the Twentieth Century warrants at least a sentence's worth of coverage in the body of the Leo Kuper article; and I feel that this coverage should wikilink to the Genocide: Its Political Use in the Twentieth Century article. I think that this would best serve the notability of the book, and I hope that it would also provide a satisfactory amount of improvement to the Leo Kuper article. zazpot (talk) 22:42, 12 August 2016 (UTC). Update: I have added such a sentence to the article. zazpot (talk) 01:18, 22 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
