Original reference

PMC 1763504 provides a reference to a 1987 paper in which LSVT was first described. The reference is:

Ramig L, Mead C, Scherer R, et al. Voice therapy and Parkinson’s disease: a longitudinal study of efficacy. Paper presented at the Clinical Dysarthria Conference; 1988. San Diego, CA: 1988.

Advice on structure

I really like your article! It's an interesting topic! I have a piece of advice to your article. I think you can change the "Section 1/2/3" parts into different subtitles, just to make the article look more formal. Also, I think some of the contents in section 1 can be included in section 2, because they are actually the explanation of the treatment process. WangjingFrog (talk) 15:49, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

Possible Typo

I really enjoyed the article but I believe there might be a typo. In the background section there is the sentence: "The Voice Treatment is for weeks long," I don't know if you meant to type four but besides this it is a great article.

One possible change

Nutrition32, you have added some great additions to this stub. My one suggestion is to change this line: "In the two videos cited, both patients were asked to take a breath and say "Ahh" as long as they can." I would references the actual people/organizations in charge of the video to give this article more of a professional feel. Also, it will help other people doing research trace back to these people faster and see other works they have done. Nevertheless, great start!CDOcean (talk) 03:04, 22 October 2015 (UTC)

This article has both of these tags, but there is no discussion of them on the talk page. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given. Clarifying

The "voice" in "Lee Silverman voice treatment" (LSVT) is a bit of a misnomer. LSVT actually has two separate treatments: LSVT-LOUD (which is voice treatment), and LSVT-BIG (which is movement therapy). They are both delivered under the auspices of a specialized company called LSVT Global. Maybe the article should be renamed as LSVT (or similar), with redirects from Lee Silverman voice treatment, LSVT-LOUD, and LSVT-BIG. I don't know what the MOS says about capitalizing Voice and Treatment, but they are pretty universally capitalized when the whole affair is mentioned outside of Wikipedia.
