Playing style edit

He would try to play brilliantly. He wasn't told by his teacher to do so. Can 17:09, 11 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

"Lee often toys with opponents by playing a normal move that would help him read moves ahead, rather than a brilliant move where he could not read ahead as well."
Now check Karpov's page to find something interesting. :)

Personal life edit

I would like to know more about what Lee does outside of go; personal life, views, tastes etc. Does anybody have any more information?  SmokeyTheCat  •TALK• 11:28, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sensei's Library edit

The text on this page and the text on the linked Sensei's library page are very similar. If they're both from the same author that's cool, otherwise I'm not so sure. Anyone more familiar with Wikipedia's policy on this want to take a look? 118.208.79.170 (talk) 01:31, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Needs an update edit

It is generally agreed that Lee Sedol has surpassed Lee Changho these days. This article has not been added to since 2006 and needs an update. SmokeyTheCat 05:39, 17 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Contribution to Go edit

I think that it should be mentioned that because of him, more importance started to be given to the endgame:

Asian TV Cup edit

Asian TV cup says it is continental. Asia is only continent that matters. Lee Sedol page lists this under continental but this page includes it in international section. [1] also lists it as international. I don't know which way it should go, but we should have consistency. crandles (talk) 16:02, 3 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Grand Slam record edit

The intro paragraph says that "He is the only player to have won all eight international competitions at least once." However, the Biography section says that "He is only the second player to record a "Grand Slam"." This seems like a contradiction to me, unless I'm misunderstanding what Grand Slam means in this context -- in which case, I think it should be clarified. --Zzedar (talk) 20:15, 16 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
