On 1 May the United States celebrates Law Day, U.S.A.. edit

Really?

As far as I can tell, not even the USG "celebrates" this.—RVJ 06:24, 19 July 2007 (UTC) There should be a link in the propaganda section for this day, as it is an openly hilarious attempt at swaying the public mind away from the left. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.36.137.7 (talk) 08:49, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, lived here all my life and never heard of it. Indeed, my memories of "May Day" have nothing to do with Law Day or the Communist version of May Day - it's all little girls with flowers in their hair.

Merge proposal edit

Law day should be merged into this article. I don't have the time at the moment, or experience performing a merge. – gRegor (talkcontribs) 16:20, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Merge would be appropriate edit

All the existing Law Day pages should be merged. I just followed several Wikipedia links on Google, and they point to different entries. And yes, Law Day is celebrated by thousands of schoolchildren and Bar Associations nationwide. Law, Youth, Citizenship (talk) 22:20, 5 April 2009 (UTC)Law, Youth, CitizenshipReply

Merge clearly needed edit

The two articles discuss exactly the same holiday! --71.111.205.22 (talk) 18:45, 28 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Improving on this"  ?? edit

This is clearly a biased statement and doesn't belong in a wikipedia article. In what was is Eisenhower "improving" on May Day by inventing a meaningless US Holiday with absolutely no history? In attempt to make this article more neutral, without doing the serious editing that's probably necessary, I changed that phrase from "improving on this" to "counter to this". Better language could probably be found, and I truly do believe a more serious rewrite of this piece is in order, but I don't have the time - and I'm probably too biased to do this properly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BillyCrimson (talkcontribs) 15:20, 29 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Article name edit

should be moved back to "Law Day" as it is the WP:COMMONNAME.--brewcrewer (yada, yada) 13:36, 2 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
