Sorry about the confusion, I sort of guessed I'd made an error when I saw the dimensions given for Tana are much huger than here!

But there is still a bit of lingering confusion that contributed to the mistake.. It seems that both this article and the Lake Tana article are claiming to have the same monastery with the same Emperor buried in it... Is this correct? ፈቃደ (ውይይት) 00:58, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

I don't see Lake Hayq claiming to have Yekuno Amlak buried in its monastery (and I don't see it being claimed earlier). It is possible that there is an Istifanos monastery (it's spelled with a long i not an a, isn't it?) in both locations (given the number of monasteries in Lake Tana).

A quick search shows that there is a Daga Istifanos Monastery on Lake Tana in which Tewodros I, Susenyos, Fasiledes and other Emperors are buried, but it makes no mention of Yekuno Amlak. I can't find anything as to where he is buried (Hayq or elsewhere) aside from sites copying the Wikipedia Lake Tana article. Yom 01:19, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Coordinates seem to be quite inaccurate ... but there are two nearby lakes ... which one is it ?? (decimal coordinates)

If somebody fixes this, maybe he/she could also update openstreetmap ;-)
