CGI edit

This article currently has a bit too much of a marketing feel to it. There's something a bit creepy about a film with absolutely massive amounts of obvious CGI being described as simply live action without one single mention of computer manipulated imagery. Five seconds of search outside of wikipedia easily backs this up: - https://ew.com/movies/2019/10/17/live-action-lady-and-the-tramp-canine-costars/ - https://www.thedailybeast.com/disney-plus-new-lady-and-the-tramp-remake-is-as-weird-as-it-is-adorable?ref=scroll - https://www.oswegonian.com/2019/11/21/lady-and-the-tramp-remake-full-of-nostalgia-cgi-rendered-dogs/ The CGI is a reasonably impressive technical feat; no reason to fail to give credit to those countless hours of work. I'll agree that it's dodgy, but I don't see any way in which misrepresentation of a film could be considered "creepy". That's a really strange choice of words. 2601:1C2:5000:1472:A578:7AF4:3DD7:B252 (talk) 00:24, 17 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Incomprehensible word salad edit

"He is caught by Jim Dear and Darling who, believing Tramp not attacked Lulu, it was just protect her from getting killed by the rat. As Elliot takes Tramp away to be euthanized, Lady reveals the dead rat to her owners who knew that Tramp saved Lulu's life."

Can someone please decipher what these sentences are meant to say and then rewrite the sentences to actually, you know, say it in actual English? 2601:1C2:5000:1472:A578:7AF4:3DD7:B252 (talk) 00:22, 17 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that is very difficult to comprehend. I will give it a try. 103.233.2.129 (talk) 00:23, 17 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Maybe I will leave this to someone who has seen this movie more recently since I don't remember much of the plot! 103.233.2.129 (talk) 00:28, 17 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I and some others have fixed this, and the random/obviously vandalism sentences about guards arresting and executing the dogcatcher (multiple times, actually, as many IPs keep reverting the article back to this "incomprehensible word salad" as you put it and this has gone on since at least July 2021 if not earlier), putting it back to a movie-accurate and grammatically accurate version. I also convinced an Admin to block at least one of the IPs that keeps doing this, and to protect the page. I am also adding an inline warning on that paragraph so whenever the protection expires (the edit war started again as soon as the protection expired recently, which is why I begged to have the protection template put back on), whoever it is that keeps doing this has no excuse, should they try again to mess with it. I hope this helps! EEBuchanan (talk) 12:25, 16 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

December 2022 edit

To whomever, with multiple IPS, keeps making the above-referenced nonsense edits, and to whomever thought it was funny to change all the "Do nots" on hidden notes to "Do"s, this is neither funny nor even clever. Please stop, as it is nonconstructive and Not encyclopedia-building behavior. EEBuchanan (talk) 06:44, 28 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Have got the protection reinstated for a couple years. Hopefully this keeps it from happening again.
