The subject of the article seems reasonable even to someone who doesn't know much about lighting. I have removed the external link to Martin because it was not in compliance with the external links policy. You could use it as a reference for a non-controversial statement or to cite an example of an example case or special case of something, but the link doesn't appear to have anything of that sort. LEDs

Just got a truckload of LED's in for the Concordia Christmas Concert- 28 High End ColorBlazes and 48 City Theatrical Color Blasts, in addition to the 12 Color Blasts we own at Concordia. Pictures and live music

I've noticed a lack of pictures of LED fixtures in use. I've got a few posable ones such as

however i dont think i have them doing anything interesting. Its a shame really, the one with the towers was 10 battons of LED's that were being controled by the visual guys (arkaos dmx version i think) in such a way as they could display low res versions of what was on the screens video-mapped over the stage, it did look very very cool near the end, but obviously i was too busy opping to take many pictures. which brings me on to my next point. The uses only includes theatre type uses, at some point i will write stuff about uses in live music. ~Wilflet (talk) 16:31, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Reorganizing LED-related pages

There are 23 different LED-related pages, and I think there should be less than half that many. I've started a discussion on this at Talk:Light-emitting_diode#An_absurd_number_of_articles_involving_light-emitting_diodes; please come and join in. -- Dan Griscom (talk) 03:10, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

I would Strongly Oppose merging this article into LED lighting. Just as we have an article for Lighting and Stage lighting and an article for Lighting fixture and Stage lighting instrument. The article may not be that useful for someone researching LEDs but for someone researching their use in stage lighting it would be. -JWGreen (talk) 05:42, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Newer data?

Most of the data comparing LEDs to other forms of stage lighting seem to be 7-8 years old. As this is a very fast-growing market and rapidly advancing technology, the information is likely out of date. Is there a template or something that can be used to tag the article or this talk page to attract the attention of those who might be able to update it? Huw Powell (talk) 15:58, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
